Competitive

Our goal is to play roller derby at the highest possible level. ORD Blackbirds – our A team skate in Five Nations T3W and are a WFTDA-affiliated team for sanctioned games. ORD Screaming Spires – our B team are looking for appropriate level opponents as they grow and develop with new rookie joiners.

We are getting plenty of games booked at various levels, and would love to see more fresh-faces.
  
Inclusive
We are a gender and trans-inclusive league; we welcome all skaters for whom women’s flat track roller derby is the version and composition of roller derby with which they most closely identify*.

We welcome officials of all genders.

We are a not-for-profit organisation run entirely by our members. Our committee is responsible for all aspects of running the league – from coaching and welfare, to events management and merchandising.
