Who We Are
Ashby Netball Club, based in Ashby-de-la-Zouch, Leicestershire, is a dynamic and inclusive club that caters to players of all ages and skill levels. Established in 2011, the club has grown from a ‘Back to Netball’ group into a thriving community with over 60 senior players and a junior section comprising around 100 members .
The club fields multiple teams across various leagues, including the North West Leicestershire League, Loughborough Town Netball League, and the East Midlands Regional League . Training sessions are held throughout the week at local schools, providing opportunities for both competitive and recreational players .
Ashby Netball Club is renowned for its community spirit and charitable endeavors. In February 2025, the club organized a 75-hour netball marathon, raising over £58,000 for Kids Village, a charity supporting critically ill children and their families . This event also saw the club break multiple Guinness World Records, including the most netball goals scored in 60 minutes and in 3 minutes .
