South Liverpool Badminton Club is your go-to destination for both competitive and casual badminton in Liverpool. Based at Gateacre High School, and as an affiliated Badminton England club, SLBC offers:
- League play through four mixed teams and two men’s teams competing in the Liverpool & District Badminton League (season runs Sept to Apr)
- No Strings open sessions for all adults aged 16+, beginner to intermediate—no booking, no commitment
- Group and individual coaching, led by a Badminton England Level 2 coach, plus racket restringing services
- Junior coaching for ages 11–18 in a friendly, fun setting
- A strong commitment to safety and fair play, backed by Badminton England membership and a formal Code of Ethics and Conduct
- Competitive and non competitive play available

A welcoming badminton club which caters for all abilities of players. The session is well organised and very reasonably priced. Everyone is very friendly and you get to play lots of doubles matches against a range of players.
